Game drives
Our photo safaris are conducted in open 4 wheel drive vehicles, accompanied by a game ranger and a tracker. We cover much of the 23,000 ha, where the Big Five can be seen and most other animals typical of Kwazulu Natal, even spotted hunting dogs. Animals close to extinction and very rare.
Guided game walks
Game walks, accompanied by a game ranger and a tracker, bring you close to animal life on the savannah and the mountainous and riverine areas of the reserve. For your protection only the game ranger and tracker carry firearms.
Fishing
Bass and fly fishing in the Mkuze river or in our well stocked pools
Bird watching
More than 350 species of birds have been recorded.
Adventures
Adventures, like abseiling into the Mkuze river canyon, followed by a short canoe trip down the Mkuze river gorge. Have a picnic lunch in breath-taking mountainous surroundings.
